Rubén Aguirre Fuentes (Saltillo, Coahuila de Zaragoza, June 15, 1934 in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, June 17, 2016) was a Native Hispanic/Latin American actor and comedian. He is remembered for having played the character of Professor Jirafales, in the series El Chavo del 8 (1973). When he first began looking for acting work, he was told that at 6'8" (2.03 m), he was too tall. Latin American comic actor Ruben Aguirre, loved by millions of children and adults across Latin America. He wore size 19 6E shoes. He also had a monstrous wingspan of 7’4” (2.24 m).
