No twists, no special FX and very little action but it works. Director Shiota's subtle camera properly conveyed the emotion and the tension throughout. Atmosphere is what matters in this musical road movie (or sort of). Very good acting there, especially from the two lead actresses, Mugi Kadowaki and Nana Komatsu. Really worth a watch or two.

While the acting is modest, a standout moment is Haru’s deep explanation of a song's meaning, offering life lessons that resonate long after the film ends.
